Howdy! I am a Biology major from Spring, TX.  I am pursuing medicine because I want to lead a team of healthcare professionals in establishing meaningful human connections with patients and their families and have the ability to improve the quality of life of countless people through the complex but, fun, puzzle of diagnoses. I want to use my voice as a physician to enact change in the healthcare system and spark hope in my patients’ minds that they can and will improve their current state of being. I want to be the person to be trusted with exciting news and important knowledge and simultaneously be the compassionate and loving person who can console the patient and their family in the dark times. I chose AMSA because it was a place that was welcoming and invited mentorship through the shared experience of students that held a similar goal as your own. I love playing video games and taking care of plants and fish.
